      I think the recession is having a pretty major impact on teens.  Although we can’t feel all of the effects right now I think we will in the years to come.  I definitely feel a difference though.  For instance, I’ve noticed my parents haven’t been able to buy as much lately.  Now I’m not saying that I was spoiled before or anything but I definitely notice that we haven’t been able to do as many things for fun.  Which is fine, it’s just different.  Anyway like I was saying I do feel a difference but it isn’t all that huge.  We still hang with the family and find fun things to do we just don’t go out as much.  I feel bad for my parents because I know they really want to do fun stuff after all the hard work they’ve put in, but they can’t.  I hopw in the months to come things pick up.  Maybe Barack will actually pull us out of this thing.  Probably not.

TECHNOLOGY

Technology really started becoming big around the time I was born. Although we had lots of electronics and what not before, we really took off in he 90′s.  Some of my first experiences with technology were with t.v.’s and super nintendo’s.  During the day I usually carry around my phone, which I don’t use a lot, and my ipod, which I use quite a bit.  I hardly ever use my phone, if I need to call or message someone it has a purpose, such as if I want to hang with a friend I will call them or message them.  My ipod has many uses.  Whether I’m alone or hanging with friends it’s always great to have some background music.  Learning new technologies is pretty simple for me, which in turn makes it kind of boring.  I usually help my parents with their new phones or anything of that nature.  Although I am pretty technologically savvy, my brother is way smart with that kind of stuff.  He is not a nerd by any means, in fact he’s pretty cool, bu he is very smart with all sorts of technologies.  Such as, photoshop, graphic design, and anything like that.  All in all I think technology is a good thing, but I don’t think it is necessary.
